Every shipping container includes a Warranty Certificate covering premature deterioration or failure of original manufacturer components or materials when the unit is used for its intended purpose as a storage container.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, abnormal use, added coatings or decals, overloading, improper stacking or lifting, fire, flooding, extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, alterations or modifications, vandalism, negligence, or any causes beyond the control of Conex Depot.
Refrigerated Shipping Containers (Reefers): New or One-Trip reefers include a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty covering engine and refrigeration components. Structural integrity coverage from Conex Depot still applies; however, no additional warranty is provided beyond the manufacturer’s coverage for refrigeration systems.
Modified Shipping Containers: Modified components carry a 1-year warranty. Because modifications require cutting container walls and affect structural integrity, modified containers cannot be stacked and are guaranteed to remain wind and water tight for a minimum of 3 years.
Conex Depot reserves the right to repair or replace any defective component or material. Warranty claims must be submitted with photo evidence via email for assessment.

Structural integrity coverage from Conex Depot still applies to Used Refrigerated Shipping Containers; there is no warranty offered on the engine and/or refrigeration components.
Modified Shipping Containers: Modified components carry a 1-year warranty. Because modifications require cutting container walls and affect structural integrity, modified containers cannot be stacked and are guaranteed to remain wind and water tight for a minimum of 3 years.

d) Conex Depot staff will review your claim and notify you of the next steps within 3 business days.
This warranty is provided as-is and applies only to the structural functionality of the both new and used shipping containers. The warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser. By purchasing this shipping container from Conex Depot, you acknowledge that all shipping containers (including new one trip units) have been used, and you accept the normal wear and tear associated with it, including cosmetic corrosion and dents.
